#1 Power Steering

Has anyone ever retro-fitted power steering to a 1966 S1 2+2. I understand it was available as an option on later models.
There are a couple of companies who will install electrically assisted power to the steering column which may suit your needs a little better than perhaps retro fitting the later 'proper' system?
I am sure someone here can provide details and I have met person who had done this and was very happy about teh drive.
