After "stalking" the forum for a couple of years and learning a lot, I finally bought the e type I had always wanted last year. I looked at quite a few cars but patience prevailed and I found the right car for me. A year on I am still over the moon with it! Have enjoyed using it and am beginning to get more confident for longer and longer journeys. The car is a very early '68 FHC with the closed headlight conversion. Full nut and bolt restoration with a few upgrades (electric fan, brake callipers, electronic ignition and of course the D type style wheels. Colour is (a not quite correct version of) Opalescent Silver Grey.
