#1 I picked up my car today

Post by Sjmmarsh » Thu Jun 06, 2013 5:27 am

I collected my S3 FHC in Primrose Yellow today and drove it 80 miles back home. The weather was good and the car ran without a hitch on the way back up the M11 and A1. Lots of smiles, waves and thumbs up from the passing cars, but none were as big as my smile.

The car just fits in the garage (I had to move a few bits at the back) and is safely asleep now. It is my first true classic, but I have run Caterham 7s for the last 10 years, so have plenty of practice at fettling!

I am in Stamford Lincs. Are there any other owners near me?

Steve

Thanks for the reply - I didn't know about Prescott but I am at Curborough sprinting so couldn't make it anyway.

Done. It looks like I am relatively alone in Stamford, which would explain why I see relatively few E-Types round here.

Nice car Steve. I think primrose yellow is a good colour for E types. Got any more pics to share?
