Hello,
My name is Frank Rabbets. I restored several proper classic cars in the 70's 80's but have been out of the arena until now. I intend to buy a 2 seater E type, luck willing, and restore the car. All work will be done by me. I intend to keep the car.

I remember seeing a new E type in the dealers in Cheltenham when they were first released. It was like something from outer space. My dad was in hysterics looking at the engine in such a small car. It took a lot to impress him. He was an aircraft fitter at Gloster Aircraft Company and worked on the Meteors.

Anyway I hope to be an active member on this forum for some years but it all depends on whether I can get a car. Any help would be appreciated.
