I'm finally ready to pull the trigger on my dream car. I don't have the space or motivation for a full resto, so I'm looking for a car that's been restored and is a solid driver (although just on sunny days). I've seen a series 2 roadster in silver which has been restored and converted from LHD to RHD; it looks a really nice job and is way less than the ?120K+ price tags from London dealers. What do people think of LHD/RHD conversions? I was originally looking to spend in the region of ?50K, but it now seems to be a false economy, and nice roadsters are easily in the ?70K+ bracket. Any advice based on your owning buying experience?

Speak to Angus Moss at Moss Jaguar as he specialises in the S2 and is a Forum Moderator. He will check over any car you find so there will be no nasty surprises: http://www.mossjaguar.com/
