Hi, has anyone used the waterless coolant you can get for classic cars?
Evans Waterless Coolant is advertised at just under ?30 for two litres.
It has a very high boiling point and basically says it will not overheat.

I have not understand the point of this?
If your car is overheating, the cure is not to put some fluid in to avoid it boiling. The cure is to fix or improve what causes poor cooling.
The optimal engine temprature is of course dependent on serval factors but oil become thinner when temprature increase making it to lubricate less.
At 120c a 10w40 oil is to thin and you should consider 10w60.
If oil temp reaches 140c the oil is consider useless and should be changed.
