Looking forward to gaining even more knowledge of series 1ots. Purchased my car in 78. Drove it for 10 years. Pending divorce caused me to dismantle and box, label every piece. Car sat till 2012. I have recently been restoring all parts and once completed the prior amateur body work will be removed and repaired. Car needs boot floor( new floor tacked in already) front footwells and rear floors, sills. A trip to England years ago permitted me to return with a full interior, rubbers and too many Martin Robey items to list. A recent offer to purchase the car forced me to stop sitting on my hands and get my arse in gear ! I love this car and the daily work on it keeps me going.

John, welcome to the forum. Lots of friendly advice, help and humour on here.
We'll all enjoy learning more of your project and seeing photos.
There are various clubs to belong to, some US based others UK but with worldwide membership, they can be a source of useful information and in the US I believe the JCNA can help with loan of unusual or specialist tools.
I'm sure you'll find lots of answer on here, whether in the knowledge base or by searching or simply asking questions.
A useful thing is to add your car details as part of your signature then answers can be more accurately given for your car.

Yes hi John. It's great you still have your E. My brother in law still has his series one OTS in his garage. Not used since 1984 but he bought it in 1976. He is going to restore it when he retires!! Anyway, you are very welcome here. Got any photos of your car from when it w a driver ?
