Hi! I have just joined the group after earlier this year embarking on a new and probably long project renovating a very tired old 1968 2+2 and probably will be looking for lots of advice as i am now getting started on the work!

John, welcome to the forum. Lots of friendly help and advice here. Don't be frightened of asking questions that may sound silly, we all have been there.
Have you bought all the relevant manuals? They are indispensable, with more info in the knowledge base to help as well. Most people find it useful to download bits from there to print out for use in the workshop, but the manuals are absolutely essential.

Keep us aware of how your project comes along. Is it a UK RHD or do you plan to convert? Again useful info in the knowledge section to help you if you do.

I am in Manchester and it is a American LHD which I intend to convert to RHD in due course

Hi John,
Welcome to the forum, lots of help available around here, just ask before you make a mistake as we have all been there.
I have converted my car from LHD to RHD and found one of the best kits out there was from Andy @ Hutsons, he's really good and will see you right.

I rang them at lunch time today for a few prices to unload my wallet by a few k unfortunately the did not bother to ring me back! Disappointed already wanted wings bonnet secretions and a new dash panels for starts!!
