Hi All,

I am new to the forum. I have a full restoration of a Series 1, 3.8L E Type to contend with. I am having it shipped from Scotland to Australia (which has more sympathetic atmospheric conditions) than my former home.

I look forward to consulting with the enthusiasts on this site when I run into technical problems. My current daily driver is a Triumph and I have found that there is a wealth of guys and girls out there happy to post technical advice to assist other enthusiasts of a particular marque. I look forward to discussing my E type challenges with you all.

Regards

Bruce

Hi Bruce,

Wellcome to the forum.
Same challenge for my E 1962 OTS.
Look at the restorations, there's some "artist"!!
The Knowledge Base is also very very interesting.

Welcome to the forum Bruce, lots of friendly and helpful advice here.
Good luck with your project.
Do we take it that you now live in Oz? Look out for Andrew Bowie he's a very knowledgeable fellow down-under.

Welcome Bruce,
I am also a few months into a 3.8 FHC DIY restoration. Was your car from a dealer in Scotland? I remember seeing one or two 3.8's for sale in Scotland when I was looking for one earlier this year.

I have found the forum incredibly useful and helpful with my trials and tribulations. Post lots of pics as you go along and remember to photo, label and bag everything as you go!!!

I've had a TR4a and a TR2 in the past, along with a S2 FHC and more recently a Healey 3000 Mk1. What Triumph are you currently driving?
