Hi - I am a new member of the forum. I am the executor for my late brother's estate. My brother was a keen e-type Series 1 owner and fully restored several series 1 e-types. It has been my sad duty to dispose of his e-type on behalf of his family and this sold well through Silverstone auctions. I am now disposing of many of the spares that are left over from his various restorations and would be most grateful for any assistance you could offer me with what we should be looking to ask for some of these. Chief among these is a genuine 7E gold top 9:1 series 1 matching numbers cylinder head and block with crankshaft and timing gear - the casting date is mid 1965. The head is complete with camshafts, valves, springs and flat rocker covers - there is no sump. The block has stood in a brick outhouse for the last 15 to 20 years, appears to be in good condition, with no obvious cracks, though the barrels are rusty and would either need to be re-bored or sleeved. We also have about a dozen pistons and con-rods. Any help in providing a ballpark figure of what we might be able to ask for these in the UK would be most welcome.

Put it on eBay and let the market decide?
