Hi All,
First post on the Forum, I'm a Brit living in the Lyon area of France, I own a very original 1964 FHC, cream with red interior, 38k original miles, has been re-painted once in original colour, it's also matching numbers..
Original Moss box and 3.31 diff, so not much fun on the Autoroute..I have very few upgrades : Fosseway 4 pot calipers and vented discs, silicone hoses and the Fosseway rear bleed kit.
Kind regards

Welcome Mark, sure you will have all the good answers to your questions here from the various experts combined with relaxed entertainment from the less experts ones.
Nice car, looks lovely, and if as you say it is rather in an original state we would all benefit from more photos!

Bit further south, same colour but mine has no roof - still, similar in many ways !
PS Take it from us, boys, Cream is a great colour until you have to clean the engine bay ...........

Thanks for the kind messages
In the beginning I wanted a silver or gun metal one with red leather..but when this one came up I jumped on it. I'm getting used to the colour now which is, as it left the factory and that's the way it will stay.
The car is pretty original, and when I pulled the engine to change the engine frames (battery acid damage) I can confirm that it seems to never have been apart before!
More photos coming, but struggling with poor standard french broadband

Yes, I think those body-colours are probably far more practical for cars that get used.
The August trip to Bilbao included a tree-house stop in the middle of a forest, dirt-tracks, puddles and pissing-rain ........... cream car ? Forget it. I haven't cleaned it since and it wails at me every time I walk past it.
But I'm turning mine from Beige to Red as I re-do the interior over the winter.

Original leather that I renovated using furniture clinic products, very happy with the results.

Great looking car especially the colour
Have to agree, the cream engine bay is not the best to keep clean.
