Well done so far, Steve. A minor glitch to sort out I’m sure. Then you can get your can of Dulux and 3 inch brush and she’ll be looking glorious. Keep us updated, please. And spend a bit more time on your own cars!

Nice job,Steve.
I'm in a similar position with a replica build. What solution did you use for seat belts to ensure compliance?
Regards

Hi Stuart...the Realm chassis is designed with fixing points for a 3 point harness...the IVA manual has precise details of what's required in the seat belt section..your best option is to find out what someone else has done and passed if they have the same build as yours......also note seat build dimensions/head restraints come into plan with the location of the belt mounts...and seat build also affects the forward vision requirements...Steve

Steve, are the seats from the original car and hence you had to use them? They look more like barn doors that’ll increase the drag dramatically. Could you fit MX5 seats instead?

Ok, Steve, but what are those two high lumps sticking up above the cockpit in your earlier photo? Post no. 20

Hi Geoff....iva requires head restraints....either as part of the seat or mounted behind the seat....made up this to fix into the harness mount just above the top of the seat backs...you have to get creative
...will they stay on after the test

Very pretty and three images in one post. I normally have to post three separate images.

Steve, that’s looking great. The bonnet looks almost bare metal underneath, it that’s just a trick of the light?
Certainly the colour looks much better when the car is outdoors, it has a nice blue hint.
Just one job left for the winter, getting the heater working
That and getting the 150 on the road. A two car family!
Cheers
Geoff

That looks totally stunning Steve, congratulations
Are those ribs down the centre of the rear end a normal C-type feature? Never noticed them before.
