#1 Adelaide

Post by Stevejaguar » Sat Dec 07, 2024 10:24 pm

Hi, my wife and I are flying out to Adelaide tomorrow, returning late January. Visiting daughter and grandkids.
I just wondered if there are any events going on during that time.
Thanks
Steve

No specific motor sport events; you've just missed the super cars event by a month.

https://southaustralia.com/ has a lot of events listed.

We do have the national motor museum at Birdwood, about an hour's drive from town.

We're expecting a hot summer this year so the beach is always an option.

Thanks Andrew. I will look out to see what we can fit in around what the grandkids have planned for us.

Hey,

We love the poteroos in the Adelaide zoo up in the hills. Definitely recommended…

Kind regards,

Carsten

Adelaide Zoo is good, although the Chinese have just repossessed our pandas :-(

Carsten is talking about Warrawong sanctuary https://www.warrawongws.com.au/ which is also excellent, especially the dusk tour.

Both would be great for grand kids.
