Loved my E, and jealous of those of you who still have them, but thought I'd show you what you can do with the proceeds

Here's a link to it cruising at 25 mph (22 knots to sailors). Round the coast where it was a little less choppy, we hit 36 mph. On sea trials in the Solent we hit 45 mph. Quite fun!

Your proceeds won't go far when you check your mpg...or should I say gallons/mile :bigrin: for anyone that complains of E type ownership costs they should try haveing a boat or as a mate calls it "big hole in the water that you throw money into" :bigrin:

Quite right, although this latest engine is not bad. At the speed we were going in the clip it returns 4.5 mpg.
