Reportedly escorted from the premises: the chief designer behind the woke Jaguar rebrand has left the company. Does this mean hope for the Marque or is it too late?

Gerry McGovern led the design of the new Defender which is their best selling model by far, so kudos for that. His work on the Type 00 was however misguided and the manner of his leaving comes as no surprise. He embarrassed Tata HQ in India which is not the best thing in the world to do!

Seems the Type 00 will go no further than the design studio with the next model released to be a large Grand Tourer EV "sometime in 2026".

Also a recent episode features a test drive in the prototype jaguar, which i believe is the type 00 so project still on going.
