Hi all , any divorce lawyers on . Who would mind giving a bit of advice on a completely amicable separation. Just need some advice before we all go to a solicitor , so I'm armed with what to get in place before
I go , hopefully keeping costs down

At the risk of upsetting any real lawyers.... try not to get lawyers involved. Family lawyers, as those involved in divorce proceedings laughingly call themselves, prefer conflict to compromise, argument to amicable arrangement.
And if there are children involved, please be aware that the system is designed with one purpose alone - to rip your testicles out through your wallet. This only works one way.
Don’t ask me how I know these things, I’m still receiving therapy.
