Concours D’Elegance at Hampton Court Palace 4th-6th Sept
Autumn Classic at Castle Combe 12th Sept.

Different style of events that I suggest you research and see if any suit your likes and timetable. Maybe combine a bit of British history at the first two as well as seeing some classy cars which might include E Types. The third is a very much a racing event with cars from various eras and types.

Family lore is that someone in my Grandmothers family owned it for one day...way back when...financial skullduggery I believe...

Hampton Court is fabulous (both for the cars and the surroundings) - definitely recommend it

It’s a shame that you couldn’t make the Goodwood Members Meeting in April - although it is not strictly open to non members - but they are having a race on the Saturday 18th April comprising entirely E-Types in the 45 minute two driver Protheroe Cup to celebrate the 65th Anniversary of the launch of the E-type.
Billed by Goodwood as they are aiming “to gather the finest selection of pre-63 racing E-types ever assembled”.
I will be there for the weekend - looking forward to that race and seeing the cars close up in the pits.
We’re over your way in British Columbia in May and June, but unsure yet how far or what direction we’ll be driving from Vancouver on our road trip in the Rockies.

It seems our timing for our UK trip is not conducive for car shows.
