Bad news for me - last night, another trap was sprung, but no mouse. So there may be another to hunt down, unless the trap just went off! Wishful thinking I know. So traps re-set, and hoping to get another before I go off to the Turks and Caicos for a few weeks on Sunday.

Seeing what damage a beaver can do to a tree can you imagine the damage hers could do to your nuts? 8)

Another one bites the dust! Got a second one this afternoon, just like the first. Hoping that's it - Mr and Mrs down, and none left. We'll see.

Mice are social creatures, you need to read up a bit Malcolm, a typical group is larger than a couple I'm afraid. First time I set traps I got 5 in a week and I'm not sure that was all that were there. Mice become trap aware very quickly, you need to resite your traps regularly.

Hi All.....I was plagued by the little critters.......best thing as well as the traps is the blue blocks of poison bait.....they have holes down the middle so u can fix them in place, stops the mouse carrying them away..and forces them to eat it.....mine were in the cavity wall and catnic lintles.....so put some bait up on th top of your inner wall aswell.....Steve
