I reported it to Harry as soon as it happened but it was an auto-bot so filled the entire forum with rubbish. Harry 'banned the bot' but he now needs to delete all the spam posts otherwise it will make the forum somewhat clunky to use.

I find it amazing that the guys behind these schemes feel that these methods will endear them to their targeted customer base. Then, I also find it amazing that so many people have fallen for the Nigerian-banker scam...

Quite simple really.. it takes seconds to send out millions of emails and there is always a take up (very low percentage) so worth doing. The Nigerians pass lists of 'dummies' around (ie people who have responded and have been successfully scammed in the past).

A favourite site of mine is www.419eater.com - it is where they scam the scammers. Just brilliant and worth a visit if you have the time!
