Am just watching it. And the german sync is sooo crappy. It ruins it. Luckily, amazon lets you swap back to english, which is of course the best.

....a lot of poo would come out !

Not in my house. Just the free services here, so no GT.

I got it for 'free' as I am a Amazon Prime member - the postage savings when buying Amazon stuff easily exceeds the £79 p.a. subscription. You can sign up for a 30 day free trial at, say, middle of January and you can watch the previous 8 episodes plus the following 4 for free - then cancel. Also watch out for an Amazon deals which drops the price to £59 for a few days - this is what I did! The whole Amazon Prime offering is very good value for money - free postage, movies, TV, music and discounts on products.

I have prime membership which my 17yr old son has somehow shared.

This morning he bought a xbox game which didn't make the £20 minimum for free delivery, so he added a box of diet coke. Someone delivered it two hours later!!

You can activate it on 2 machines iirc. So, if he only needs one....

(I have not checked wether it is legal to use 2 machines which are in different hands / different households / ???)

The Fire TV stick is meant to allow you to travel anywhere and view Amazon content from your Hotel room for example. I have Amazon Video on my Nvidia Shield TV box (sideloaded as it is not officially available on it), Desktop PC, Home Theatre PC, laptop and two phones. It is linked to your Amazon account (which you can set up for 'Family members') which means pay per view films will be charged to you so there is every incentive to keep control! We also have Amazon Echo/Dot units for voice control of Heating, lighting and music amongst other stuff.

I'm a fan of Top Gear but I found this a bit painful. Too many references to poo and thought the guest thing was awful. Hoping it will improve and/or grow on me.

I liked it a lot and think it will get even better, however the guest section & poo references thoughout were poor and irritating.

I watched it a second time and found it more fun probably because my expectations were not as high. It was, to all intents and purposes, the pilot episode so I fully expect it to improve as they get used to their new format.

If anyone is dithering over Amazon Video they have an offer on the Fire TV Stick of £24.95 A bargain for what is a phenomenally powerful little device. I had one delivered today and it was up and running in a few minutes - plug into HDMI port, plug into mains (or USB socket on TV) and you are good to go. Does everything - BBC iPlayer, ITV, 4More and dozens of other channels. After an hour of tinkering I had it modified and running as a complete media centre, something that a few years ago would have cost hundreds of £'s.

I haven't got time to watch TV as I am currently struggling to remove the bonnet hinge top hat in the garage without destroying the front frame of my car..

Looks dreamy though.
