As some of you may have seen over on Jag-Lovers: http://tinyurl.com/27ueppa some clown is threatening a cease and desist order over "copyright infringement" for putting push pins in a map! Their case is totally without merit as the copyright belongs to Google and Zeemaps both of whom have licensed their technology to, in this case, me - when I subscribed.

The response on J-L has been overwhelming in both boycotting the complainant's Jaguar website on the grounds he is clearly not an E-Type 'enthusiast' to behave in this way and by immediately adding even more push-pins to the map to show this bully boy the door.

So, if you have not already done so, please add your car to the map.

Just read the thread. Can't wait until 21st October! Seriously, if it does go any further and we need to get a fighting fund put together, I'll contribute.

Thanks guys. Interestingly he has only made the threat on Jag-Lovers presumably because he believes they are US based. Not heard anything here or via my personal email. Whatever happens the Map remains because if there is one thing that really pisses me off it is anyone who tries to suppress free spirit for personal gain.

Well, this is really exciting, the forum has come alive. Maybe all E type owners should band together and start an E Type forum with a map and stick pins in it.

Dam, I think that's already been done.
