Hi All.
I tried checking this out online but with mediocre success.
I am trying to find out how many 1966 series 1 2+2,right hand drive manuals are left, with matching numbers and ,what value would you put on one when selling,in fair/good condition.
Many thanks for any responses.
Best regards
Neil.

Thank you Steve,will do.
Any thoughts on how many left, the online site of that name seemed a bit vague.
Kind regards
Neil.

Hi Neil..dont think you will find an accurate answer...the How many left site just uses info from dept of transport..so presumably..just goes by how many registered....They wont distinguish between S1/S2.....you could look through http://www.xkedata.com/ checking out body/engine numbers do some approx calculations....but not everyone registers on there...you definatly wont find out how many are still matching numbers...Steve

The answer is as long as a piece of string Neil. . The number doesn’t much matter for that car when it comes to prices, unless (maybe) it was the first or last. There are enough to mean they remain less valuable than contemporary FHC/OTS and for most people more desirable than a Series 2 2+2. Pricing is, thank goodness, by condition for almost all Es. Some UK buyers prefer an original UK car, many would far prefer a converted less rusty US car. You just need to compare the prices being asked for those cars and decide how fast you want to sell and set your value accordingly. There are a lot of E-types not making reserve currently...NWplasterers wrote: ↑Tue Feb 11, 2020 9:14 am
