Because the registration documents are for a different car.

There's no way you can prove that you own the car or that it's not stolen.

Red car now sold at auction £29k plus commission so around £32k.....but our original poster did not purchase it...maybee the new owner will come on the forum asking about the chassis number. :bigrin: ...Steve
