What’s with the over-rev when shifting UP that you can hear from 1.05 onwards ???

News to me.

I like it and would have it but it's not an E type...its no different to my Realm C type as far as im concerned...and to get the horn push wrong....C types didn't have one on the steering wheel....Steve

Listen to the gear changing, and tell me what I’ve not understood about double declutching.

Around 1.05

At each gearchange, there is an attempt to rev the engine, on a freed clutch from what I can hear, as one would do when changing DOWN, only - er - he is changing UP, no ?

Maybe he misread how to double declutch? I’ve known a few lady drivers who would increase revs when changing up, or at least not take their dainty feet off the go pedal. (Standing by for flak from certain quarters!)
I quite like the look of the car and wouldn’t complain if someone gave me a low drag coupe. But not being a racing driver I’d ask for a goodly amount of sound insulation to be able to hold a conversation with my passenger at anything above tickover

I agree with Geoff - the over revving sounds like Driver malfunction

But this video is such scripted and choreographed Vanity Porn, that will have been Take after Take, followed by Cut after Cut, why would you then get your pedals mixed up on such a public stage ?

One day he will get to the hallowed turf, that he refers to so reverentially, and hear how it is done at Goodwood.

I am certain the gear change down to the film maker inserting a similar shifting sound from the movie Bullit.
