Anybody else received one of these e.mails from right2redress to claim for mis sold pcp?
I am used to seeing these pop up as random clickbait. But this is targeted and contains my reg number against my e.mail address.
There are only a few organisations who could have supplied my e.mail and reg number.
DVLA, JEC, jag parts suppliers and Peter Best insurance are the ones that come to mind.
As I purchased it 30 odd years ago, for cash they are wasting their time.

I use a different e.mail address on this forum and other social media platforms, than the one they have used, which is only used for purchases and subscriptions.
So e.mail not a result of being on this forum.

But thanks for the reminder Avatar and screenshot updated

I have not had any emails, but I have received 2 phone calls in the last few weeks with a similar theme. They knew my name and were able to quote the registration number of an MGB that I own and they obviously had my telephone number.
I was able to conclude that there were only two organisations that had all three of those pieces of information, both of them being insurance companies.
