Hi all
I’m getting a lot of blue blanket pages with “Content not viewable in your region”
Can anyone advise?

I think a lot of images on here are hosted on the Imgur platform who have blocked access from the UK. The fix is to install a VPN. A bodge is to edit your .hosts file to tell your computer that imgur.com is hosted locally. That way you only get a little broken link icon so can see Quick Links a little better. There are probably neater bodges.

Hopefully I can provide a little hope!
I too came across this a couple of months ago, firstly I'm not blessed with the "how to navigate computer" "apps", "how to do's" etc etc.
But it was a contest between give up on this or sacrifice the brilliant info and photo streams available on this amazing forum, the background work that goes on ad infinitum by those who must devote a huge mount of their personal time deserve a mention in despatches - a "big thank you" on how much this has helped me over a long period of time.
I personally joined "Nord" VPN and it took approx 20 mins to load the thing up and 70 odd pound left my account. I then went on line to get the images back but no luck. Disgruntled I endeavoured to get a refund (as of now 2 months later no reply).
However a little time passed and needs must and so revisited the various comments on the thread. and made note that one seems to have to act as though one is out of the Uk - I therefore made a virtual journey to Brussels and clicked on that VOILE! Images back!
Next problem however is that on occasions I need to piggy back off my I phone for internet connection and this
stopped working
I then discovered that I can connect or disconnect with the Nord thingy and so finally I have everything working/understood - well for the moment at least! Don't give up

Richard, that is so true. There is a lot of hard work going on in the background by people such as Heuer to keep this invaluable forum working for our benefit. In the past there have been those who have happily suggested subscribing to help pay for the computer and server time. It has been politely refused. Paying a few pounds to see the images is well worth the expense. Let us be so very grateful for this friendly, helpful forum. No back biting unlike some, just honest advice and guidance. Thank you to those who do all the hard workrichard btype wrote: ↑Sun Jan 04, 2026 6:36 pm

Thank you all
Unfortunately I’ve no idea what all those stuff means , VPN , virtual stuff etc
I guess I’ll just have to make do without pictures

Thanks but that doesn’t look like something I want to do
Is there no other way of seeing images?
Why has it changed?

#12 Re: Content not viewable
As Turnip pointed out a month ago on the other Thread (post #39), using Opera Web Browser, which includes a free basic VPN which can be enabled/disabled at will, seems to remove the "Content not viewable in your region" message. And a brief test on Heuer's Period and Glamour Photos Thread leaves nothing unrevealed!
A free workaround for the problem?
