"A British man has been killed and his wife seriously injured after their vintage Jaguar E-Type careered off a road and flipped after the couple had attended a vintage car show in Italy. The car spun out before leaving the road and overturning onto its side, suffering extensive damage. The 72-year-old man died at the scene of the crash while his 73-year-old wife was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries. The couple were travelling through the picturesque Chianti region in the province of Siena when disaster struck at around 1pm last Friday. Their red convertible was heading along the SR429 from Poggibonsi towards Castellina when the driver reportedly lost control."
