E-Type UK now under new ownership
#1 E-Type UK now under new ownership
I noticed this on the website. The names sound familiar, anyone know where they are from ?
"January 22nd 2016 @ 3:34pm
E-Type UK is delighted to announce that we are now under new ownership as the company was acquired by Dominic and Marcus Holland in January 2016."

#3 E type uk
Don't think they have anything to do with the forum. They are commercial restoration and car sales are they not?

Holland is the surname of the two ( presumably) brothers who have taken over from Harry Fulford. Nothing to do with geographical location !

I can confirm that Dominic and Marcus Holland have taken over E-type UK. Dominic and Marcus are father and son.
Its been difficult for Kate and I to run the business whilst residing in California. Dominic and Marcus will be able to invest the time and resources to take the company forward.
Once I have finished the current restorations that I am working on and have sold my current inventory, I will focus my attention on promoting other classic cars. I will be retaining a personal interest in E-type's, in fact I am keeping two or three for myself. They are such beautiful cars and I couldn't imagine my Sunday drive down the PCH in anything else.
Going forward I will probably add more to various topics on the forum as a fellow enthusiast as I won't be seen as contributing for my own gain.
Furthermore I would like to thank you all for your support and a special thanks to David, Angus and Mark for their support.

Somehow, I suspect that V8 lump we drove won't be one of your 'keepers'? Best wishes for you and your family. Pacific Coast Highway/M25 - same thing :-)

well done Harry. The forum you had the foresight to start has been a fantastic resource for other enthusiasts and helped me personally to an unbelievable extent with all the little details that only come with experience and knowledge. And, you and the boys at Etype UK have always been so very welcoming and the coffee has always flowed. It was somewhere I always enjoyed visiting and nattering. Good luck with other Classiscs and keep us posted. By the way, are you going to come to Bicester with us on the 24th April?

Harry, never met you or visited E-Type UK, but this forum has been an absolute benefit to me and many others, both for help and friendship. Good Luck

Harry, I just want to echo the best wishes and give a heartfelt "thank you" for hosting the forum. When I joined the forum I knew nothing technically about the E Type and I doubt that I would still have mine today had it not been for advice from members of the E Type UK and J-L forums. The advice has been wonderful and the friendships (some from a distance and a few that I've been fortunate enough to meet) have been an added bonus.

Thank you for your words of encouragement.
Pete you must be a physic, that green car with the nasty V8 came with its original engine or motor as they say this side of the pond. So I had this wonderful idea of carrying out an economic refurb with a budget paint job and dropping the original engine in it. So here we are 18 months later the budget paint job took over a year and needs redoing so it looks like I'm well in to it now and past the point of profit so I will probably end up with it.
So for everyone who's started something you wish you hadn't, you will probably do it again and again.

I can only echo what has been said on here already Harry. I certainly wouldn't have gotten into all things E-type without this forum. Thanks for everything and thank you for putting up with me ;)
