Matching numbers on a Series 1

Your engine, Phil, is almost certainly the very last R series one , as the numbering then restarted at RA1000 . The car is thus dated to a build of about late January 1963

Incidentally, don't take this as a rebuke of any kind, as it isn't, but please don't quote all the past thread each time you post , as it makes the thread very difficult to load and read
