Ah! Got it - thanks.

Be gentle with me. I've some scar tissue just where you are prodding. It covers the wound where they went into my heart and ripped out all trace of my two stolen Es. Last week was the fifth anniversary...

#23 GOOD NEWS - STOLEN - S1 Silver/Blue FHC from Essex

Post by rswaffie » Tue Aug 01, 2017 6:23 pm

All,
In case you hadn't seen this on the ITV News Website from the 27th Jul.....

A classic E-Type Jaguar was stolen during a burglary at a house in Brightlingsea, Essex, along with several items of jewellery.

The Jaguar was later recovered by police in nearby Maldon. Police later released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to following the burglary.

Lucky b'stard! It sounds like the Essex police kept the case open for more than the week Cambridgeshire Constabulary did. But then I admit the cars were seen 160 miles away near Harrogate 3-4 days later, and the communication obstacles must have been insurmountable. After all, carrier pigeons need the weekend off like anyone else...

That's disappointing - another case of false news! ITV are normally fairly accurate.

Yes Richard disapointing, ITV got it wrong this time round, fingers crossed it's still found.
