If you don't have pumpkins then what do children carve for Halloween ? My heart bleeds for those poor British children carving turnips and in a pinch parsnips or large radishes. 😱😱
The children dress up a life size straw man in period costume and carry him about in a wheelbarrow begging adults to donate "A penny (more like a pound these days) for the Guy?" which they use to buy explosives. Turnips are carved with horror faces and lit with a candle. Then on the night of the 5th November they put the straw human on a bonfire and watch him burn whilst simultaneously setting the explosive fireworks alight. Pumpkins - pah, you Colonials are amateurs!

I would recommend Ken & Lyn who usually frequent the Stoneleigh shows.... They are based in Buxton”
Ken & Lyn who? I lived in Buxton 14 yrs and knew of no E-type people except one guy with a white 2+2.

Hi Peter, Ken and Lyn is their trading name. They are paint suppliers to the classic vehicle community. If you google them you'll find all the details.
