150 MPH Number plate

I almost forgot the best one (or pair); along Chelsea embankment, opposite the house boats, there used to be two cars; and Aston Martin and a Bentley if I recall. They were "2 BE" and "NOT 2B".
And a pair of licence plates were once cited in a divorce case; B00 800 and 800 B00. I never heard whether they got split up or not.

That must be an old photograph - the Bentley was replaced by a Range Rover a few years ago. Because I've got nothing better to do (or because I'm too lazy to get off my @rse and get back to the tedious task of rubbing down my engine frames) I googled them; they belong to Robert Bourne, who is a property developer. He formed part of a consortium that tried to buy the Blair Folly - sorry, the Millennium Dome - and he owns the Old Vic.

Here in France all will change in 2021 for old car registrations. The government has decided to abolish all old style plates and replace with new style numbers and letters. Apparently this is to "clean the system" of cars that no longer exist.
