They say it was published 15 August.
Which tells you all you need to know about Amazon. I wasn't consulted with the stuff going public in the first place and didn't know they'd written that now. As I have been too busy buying refurbing E-types to finish the book off yet, it hasn't even left my computer in its entirety. Early next year I guess for public availability.
The good news is that it will contain pictures of my own 2+2 and my own FHC now, as well as the existing foundation of my own OTS. It will cover LHD/RHD, sixes, twelves, US twin Stormbergs, ROW triple SUs, V12 Strombergs - you name it, it should now be in there and one book should suit pretty well all owners. About the only thing not covered in fair detail will be the V12 engine stripdown. I've got an engine but will run out of time to strip the block down but I have pics of other people's work and the manual is OK in any case.
Apologies to all for the delays but in mitigation:
a) I have a life involving fun with using E-types not just writing about them,
b) I have new grandkids and other interests
c) I wasn't responsible for the availability promises in the first place, let alone whatever fiction Amazon are now concocting.
In retrospect, my biggest mistake was supplying Veloce with potential cover photos on request. Once they had those, the project seems to have taken on a momentum of its own that has little to do with me.
