'So' says SWMBO, 'what have you been doing today?'
This isn't as inquisitorial as it might at first sound. We often chat about our days when sitting down to recover before dinner.
'I've got a confession to make, I've bought a porno mag.'
.........
Pause.......
'Oh!.....Er, OK.......'
Another pause, and a slightly concerned look in the eye.
'Yeah, that's OK.'
..........
Pause.....
'It's there, on the coffee table.'
She looks and can't see it. Confusion now.
'On this coffee table?'
'Yes, just there.'
'Oh, that!'
Not sure what she was expecting, but 'that' wasn't it.
'Lots of cars with their tops off, showing off their curves, some even dirty!'
Boy, am I in trouble!
