#1 Body repair and paint specialists...

Post by Monkeyfinger » Tue Mar 07, 2017 10:53 am

Looking for recommendations for specialist in South Hampshire area UK (preferably). I will need body repairs and painting to a 'medium ' standard. Grateful for any experiences that can be shared either in this thread or by message.

Try Graham at Classic Restore in Eastleigh:

He's done some work for me in the past on my Lancia and I've been very happy with the results.

Pitt Lane near Winchester http://www.pittlane.co.uk/ have had reasonable reviews (though I've never had anything to do with them). Maybe they could help?

I have just got my E back from Pitt Lane (winchester) Didn't have bodywork done, but saw other cars there they ha ddone/were working on. Looked very good. Charges seemed good; £50 per hour for mechanical, and £38 per hour for bodywork. Talk to Harvey Batchelor, workshop manager 01962 869555. Seems to know his stuff.

Hi - if you are looking for south Hampshire, I can recommend A and B Motors in Hilsea, Portsmouth - he has done two jobs for me, one on a 240 (Mk 2) and one an XJ6, both to a good standard and price. Touch base with Alan, the boss, who would be happy to quote I'm sure.
