It's always good to get a number of firsts out of the way each season. A few weeks ago I managed the first post salted roads drive. Today was the first supermarket shopping trip, and the first interaction with a random member of the public.

"I hope you don't mind, I've been taking photos." she said.
"Of course I don't mind, in fact I insist."
"What is it? A 1920s or something?"
"1967". I thought that was enough information for her. She was happy with her photos. Maybe someone else will tell her it was an E-Type Jaguar when she shows the photos off later at home.

And that's why we love em. Mine got snapped in the surgery car park when I went to get a death certificate for my dad from the doc.

Thanks. Very kind of you... vascular dementia got him. Indescribably awful. He is in a better place and life and e types go on. Make the most of every day as one day your luck will run out..get those cars out and drive them...that's what Sir William intended

Absolutely agree, Julian. One day, for whatever reason, you'll never be able to drive it again so don't waste a single opportunity while you can.

My X type estate has been in the garage for days with a bizarre fault so for the last week my E type has been my daily driver. It's been tough but what else could I do ?
