#1 6162 RW anyone know of this car?

My neighbour, Simon, has shown me this photo of him next to 6162 RW, an October 1961 registered FHC (the XK150 belonged to his neighbour at the time).

The story is that William Lyons was concerned about the early E Types being crashed and asked Simon's father for his thoughts. The father being the head of a large insurance company. So this FHC was delivered to Surrey for them to use for a few days. By all accounts they thoroughly enjoyed driving the car up to London to go to work and at speed down the Kingston by-pass and reported back that the insurance company had no concerns at all about the car (though maybe a few drivers weren't so highly regarded?)
DVLA records show it as untaxed and MOT expired on 12th May 2014.
Would anyone know of the car? I have asked JDHT but don't expect they'll release much information to me not being the owner.
Thanks
Geoff
PS, edited, just went onto XKEdata and found this: http://www.xkedata.com/cars/detail/?car=860010
Seems it was a press car retained by Jaguar and went through JD Classics in 2012 and won best in show at Uniques Special Ones (whatever that is!)
