1/4 of a tank yesterday - 6 miles run in London during rush hour.
do not recommend it for commuting!

As a regular London driver & occasional commuter I can second the rather poor mpg! Anything from 8mpg to 12mpg traffic permitting by my rough calculations- though would need to double check with a map as am aware that the cars speedo can churn out incorrect distances.
I reckon any London journey takes 10-15% longer, thanks to speed bumps, route changes to avoid narrow two way streets, and inclination to not push car to make it through a changing traffic lights to only apply brakes 20 yards further on!
The knock on effect of engine temp with hard acceleration to only join another stationary line of traffic isn't ideal either so driving style need to be very muted.
As I'm sure we all find getting let out at junctions doesn't tend to be a problem!
