#1 Waterproof Travelling Cover - and odds on staying dry ?

Can someone recommend a pack-small waterproof cover for an OTS, suitable for overnight stops when travelling ?
And whilst you're at it, place bets on the odds of being able to drive in the dry from Montpellier to Wales mid-July without a hood ?

Hi Rory, I always carry one very compact top cover in the boot, similar to this:

No personal interest whatsoever...
Quite useful because it covers the top + all other potential water ingress points, particularly in July in France during usual thunderstorms with the heavily pouring rain... Guessing bets are not allowed as per forum rules?

That is exactly what I have been looking for for both my E type and sons MX5 race car which is open.
Just bought one so thanks guys
Touring France last summer the car got soaked during an overnight thunderstorm and the cover I have is too big and heavy to carry around on holiday.

So far so good then - for the Bikini cover.
But I was thinking also of the make-it-look-less-noticeable by putting a complete bag over its head, so would still be interested to hear if anyone can recommend a cheap-and-cheerful waterproof-cover for occasional use ?
Not concerned about breathability etc - it's an overnight job.
