Rubber seal advice

Hi,

My restorer is struggling with rubber seals for the rear screen, doors and sills. He has purchased replacements from Barratts but they are not right.

Can anyone recommend a source that is reliable?

He mentioned that he had heard that Jaguar Heritage had faced similar problems now that they have started to restore e types and decided to have a new rubbers manufactured to original spec and quality for their own use. Is there any truth in this and can a mere mortal get hold of them?

I have just fitted new door seals from C O H Baines Ltd and these are a much better profile and better dark colour than others I received from my usual large parts supplier. I believe that Baines only specialise in seals, so they would get my vote. A quick prompt service and an easy to use website to order from.
Now I have been able to adjust my doors to fit better. The top lip of the seal should be fitted so it is directed towards to rear of the car.

As above.....Baines are quite often mentioned on the forum as haveing the best fitting seals
