Hi David; can you tell me how to download photos on to my posts. If I click on Add Image, it leads me to some other site which seems to be hopeless. More like it's me that's hopeless!! Also, how do I add a photo onto my description on the side of my posts. ie, how did you donwload the Heuer watch! Sorry to be thick.......

To add photos to your posts you can use the Postimage function - the blue P at the bottom left of the post editor box. That should take you to the Postimage site. Click on 'Choose Images' and it will open an Explorer window to allow you to navigate to where you have the photos on your PC. Click on the photo and it will automagically insert a link into your editing box. Click on 'Preview' and confirm it has worked, then click on 'submit' to post your message.
If you don't like Postimage then use Imgur
http://imgur.com/
Click on the 'New Post' green box at the top of the Imgur homepage and then drag 'n drop your photo to the box or use the 'Browse' function to navigate to the photo. The photo will be uploaded and appear on your screen. Click on the down arrow and 'Get Share Links'; click on the BBCode (Forums) copy button and then paste the link into your post.
As regards Avatars go yo your User Control Panel (click on your username top right of home page), click on 'Profile' tab, Edit avatar, Select avatar type, select remote avatar from drop down, paste in your the link created in Imgur making sure your photo is no bigger than 200x200 pixels.
It looks like the Gallery avatars built into the Forum have disappeared during the server move and we can no longer upload avatars to the server which was the best option. I will report it and see if we can get them back.

Happy to report our Avatar gallery is working again and you can upload your chosen avatar to our server which means not having to rely on Photo*ucket, Imgur or Postimage. Means they will be here as long as the Forum survives and the image hosts will not get cross about using bandwidth. Choose 'Upload Avatar' from your profile.

OK, I give up - where has the P gone for uploading photos? It used to be at the bottom of the edit space - not there now!

Go to the bottom of the Home page and click on 'Delete all board cookies', close browser and try again. Also try a different browser and report back.

Hi, I tried the cookie deletion first of all, but still no joy. I have the same problem on Safari on my IPhone. I'll try it on my Windows laptop when I get home as that has got Chrome, Edge, Safari etc as it may well be the browser.
Thanks for the tips, I'll keep plugging away.

Certainly no 'P'. Could be the Safari browser - try clearing your browser cache.

Ok, so my Windows 10 laptop, running Chrome works fine as does the Edge browser. So, it must be the browser version or settings on my work laptop (Win8). As for Safari, looking again at that.
