It was a nice day and we needed to get some provisions and a pot of paint to recoat walls in one room. And on the way back we thought we'd stop at one of our locals for a beer and sandwich. Just settling to eat when a chap asks is that your E-Type? I was going to bring mine, he says. A brief chat ensued and said chap introduced himself as Mike Wilds, occasional contributor to this forum, and he showed me an article in the August issue of MotorSport of him and his E-Type parked outside he very same pub.
