You got much titanium in yours Darren, you know like shims, p clips and small brackets or have you stuck with heavier aluminium?

That makes a huge difference

Hi Simon. Nope just left all shims out . That should lighten things up .... along with anti shake washers and using plain nuts instead of the weighty nylocks and of course helium in tyres

Ser. 1.5 DHC tipped the scales at 1.279,3 kg unmanned, no spare wheel, no tools but with 3/4 full petrol tank, all other fluids, tonneau cover + soft top, the usual maps and satnav, towels (to collect the intruding rain) beanies, gloves and sweets and the other stuff you carry in your car when traveling in autumn over the alps. (No, no snow chains...)

Hello Wolfgang,

Was the Bosch alternator a straight replacement or did you need to modify brackets, pulley etcetera?

Kind regards,

Kevin
