The 'E' Type Forum

Just back from a great drive out to Goodwood and a superb lunch at the 'Fox Runs Free' pub in the nearby village of Charlton.

Driving home along the A27 heading west into the setting sun my wife took this picture of the sky reflected on the E's bonnet. If possible, it makes the bonnet look even more beautiful!

I know the Fox very well, having stayed there with the e type at The Festival.

East Dean is where the forest camp site is, just 1/4 mile away excellent food at The Star and Garter as well.

The very same A27 heading west leaving Goodwood Revival in 2008 as the sun set.



There is something magical with the light at sunset and sunrise. The same day early on at Goodwood as the sun was rising and being the first car to arrive for the Lavant Straight parking. There was always a bit of a competition to see who could arrive first - as this meant pole position alongside the track and being parked next to the Member's Marquee !
