#1 D-Type rims for a S2 Etype

Dear etype enthusiasts,

as a longtime silent reader of the forum I would need help with the following facts.
My Etype S2 is nearing completion and I would like to have any changes made to the papers.
I'm thinking for my Etype to buy alloy wheels in D-type style at Limora, SNG or similar providers and also to enter the rims in the papers.
After reviewing all the forums, I learned that this would be difficult if not impossible without documentation.
Limora can / would not like to provide any paper and also the load capacity of 425 kg for the rim 6,0J x 15 "mentioned in the sales prospectus can not be deposited by Limora with documents which refer to the indications of the advertisement as sufficient for a single registration (?? ?). The suppliers from England can serve because of the small quantities with nothing of the kind.

Does anyone know a manufacturer of such a rim, which supplies these also with proof of load or even inspection documents? Or has one of you entered such a rim in the papers and could provide me with this document as a template?

The problem is not limited in my opinion to the light metal D-type rim.
It seems that the spoke rims that are sold at the usual suppliers are all not ABE. So, are they all driving the new spoke rims through with an extinguished operating permit? :police:
Am I worried too much here?
I would like to avoid that, if you fall for whatever reason with unauthorized or registered rims, the prosecutor or the insurance from such a thing, a disclaimer or worse derive.
Therefore, I would like to have new rims secured either with ABE or a single purchase / registration.

It would be wonderful if you could give me your opinion or support in the form of discussion, documents or information (also by PM).
Of course, any expenses will be refunded.

Thanks in advance and greetings
Patrick

Hi Patrick,
Judging by what you wrote I am assuming you‘re based in Germany, like myself. I can‘t provide any information that might help, other than having seen a fhc with D-Type wheels at Kamps-Classics in Kevelaer, Niederrhein. It was a customer‘s car and was probably there for maintenance or servicing. When I arrived, the owner and I spoke for a few minutes before he got in it and drove off. You might want to call Kamps-Classics if they can help you in getting D-Type wheels TÜV approved and registered.
