Barr's Stop Leak?

Although Jaguar put Barr's leak in with the coolant of the early cars I have not seen anything that actively promotes it other than to solve a problem. If you look at the date of that SB you will see it was issued during the British Leyland days, so Lyons would not have really had a say in it and times had changed.

I'm not absolutely certain, but I think I remember them mentioning Barr's in a SB back in the XK era (end '50s).

But then again... I've read so much stuff about Jaguar that it all kind of blurrs.
