Take your son, your son's friend, and your son's friend's girlfriend out for a spin, or rather 3 spins in succession. That's what I did today. ( Weather mild, roads dry, no salt round here) Big delighted grins all round. They all love the old lady!

Or make a coffee table. Like the one I embarked upon after the E-xcursions with the kids. Copying a v elegant old Habitat design, examples of which are to be found on eBay for a couple of grand....

Just spent an age removing the gruby old paint from my sugar scoops. Now in grey primer that is drying slowly

Just spent three hours removing vacuum and water pipes from behind bulkhead.

The thought of getting new ones in actually makes me sweat as I type this!!

It’s not too hard if you can get the wiper mechanism out of the way. I used the bungee chord method to hold them in place during riveting - managed it on my own with no probs.

I’ve made a bracket for a secondary brake light switch (using the specs on the forum), fitted it and tested it. Also fitted a hidden Bluetooth receiver/amp and wired it all up. Sounds great through pioneer speakers. Have run speaker cables to the rear cubby holes ready for some extra speakers if I feel the need.

Not an oil stain in sight, presume you have another for the dirty work?
As for jobs,
Rubber seals on the front mud shields, then much staring at the forced air inlet bonnet duct to the trumpets, already consumed more time than it should have.

While some good roasted smells come from the kitchen, i have modified my favorite tools by a thin needle....

That's my joinery bench Michael. I built it a few years ago. I have a plywood top that I cover it with for doing dirty work, like grappling with filthy rusty E Type subassemblies....

I took a long spin this morning thanks to the unique great sunny and mild Christmas day.
Santa has been quite generous, he brought me these originals re-chromed:
