Trying to find Lemforder lower balljoints but they seems to be out of stock everywhere.
Are they as good as they say or are there replacements with the same quality?
Anyone know where to buy them?

Hi Peter....l havent read of any problems with those supplied by the usual suppliers......where have you heard that Lemford are " better" ....Steve

Well, I have read in several threads in many forums, Jaguar and others that the Lemford ball joints is the best available. They cost twice as much than the others which sometimes reflects the quality.
Maybe I overthink this, just wanted the best for my cat

I just ordered them and some other parts from Jag shop and unfortunately they are out of stock despite what the web shop say.
The say "there has been an issue manufacturing them" so that's why I asked here...

Hi Peter...have you contacted SNG to ask who makes their sealed joints....the code is JLM....could stand for Lemford?

They don't have Lemforder in stock, possible to back order though.

The ones usually fitted now are standard XJ40 items, and if they will cope with the much higher loads of an XJ40 then they should amply cope with an E

CAC9937 or JLM11860, which is the XJ6 and onward ball joint is what you're looking for.

They seem to be available on E Bay; I searched "JLM11860 Lemforder".

so CAC9937 and JLM11860 is the same, good to know.
Still, ordering from Aus. cost to much, postage is more then the cost for the ball joints.
Thanks for the info, I will wait a little and see if they get in stock somewhere closer to Sweden.
