#1 Why an E-Type?

This is why.
Yesterday was just another Thursday. We had a spare afternoon so decided to go and walk around the RSPB reserve at Arne, about 40 miles or so from home. It was a nice walk, but the birds were being very shy, clearly not impressed with the few of us venturing out in a sunny July afternoon with binoculars in the hope of seeing something different or strange in the avian world.
Back at the carpark the volunteer carpark attendant said my E (aka highly polished bag of nails) had been the subject of many comments and admirers. It helped that I deliberately parked it right outside the attendants hut, mainly as a security measure, but also to ensure as many as possible who’d want to see an E-Type, had such a chance. We talked about the car and its history, all the while more comments came as others returned to their cars.
As I said to the volunteer, that’s why I drive the car as much as I do.
