Cotswold Blue is not a Series 3 colour but according to xkedata its modern equivalent (ie Series 3) is Light Blue - so if not the same is close to it.

That is Light blue .( also IIRC known at the time as powder blue )
Cotswold was a lovely 50s/60s colour but funnily enough to my eyes did not look right on the only E type I've ever seen in it. It is much more a Royal Air Force blue

Thanks for confusing me more guys

Light Blue, Powder, Cotswold, Lavender, surprised Duck Egg didn't come up as my wife is convinced that's what it is.
MGC, it is the same car under different lighting. And yes it's had a nut and bolt body off restoration including repaint.
I do have the name of the restorer in Grimsby. Will contact.
So many people, even Jag owners have asked. Mostly agree it's a lovely coulor.
We do have a name for it now, BERTIE.

Paint codes aside Bob, it looks particularly nice with the dark blue hood - you don't see many coloured hoods out and about. I once saw a gunmetal OTS with an oxblood interior and dark red hood. Wow!

So. the person that painted it got back to me. He tells me it's called SILVER BLUE.
He is looking for the code to send to me. Will revert when he does.
That Silver and Oxblood is mega nice.

I did get one more shot of the OTS - it was on the E-Type Club Weekend way back in 2015 now. It does seem to have something about it!

Silver Blue would suggest a metallic blue which was not a standard colour on a Series 3
Your car does look identical to my Series 2 in Light Blue

Squadron Blue was the 70s version of Cotswold Blue.

Hi Bob,
Whoever the colour it looks really nice on your V12.
I noticed how well it sits on its wheels, are they standard 72 spokes or something different?
Also what size and brand are the tyres? They suit the car really well.
I hope the car brings you many years of pleasure
Regards
Nick

Hi Nick, i did not restore the car myself, i don't have the ability to.
On file regarding the wheels and tyres i have this,
Hubs
Part : XW455c/3-TL, Curly Hub Chrome wire. Witeel??
MK2/E S1/S=Type/V8.
Wilkinson.
Tires
205/70VR15 Avon CR28 (95V)
Now i wouldn't know if any of the above makes sense to you, it doesn't to me.
Trust it's of some help.
